2015 Jan Stauber-Sherlock Holmes Literacy Grant Awards
This year Jan Stauber Grant funding was at an all-time high of $8,000. We were able to provide up to $500 to fifteen teachers and librarians to assist them in developing a teaching project to introduce more young people to Sherlock Holmes. Here are the project winners for 2015:
1. Dr. Michael Brady
Developed a Sherlockian curriculum relating it to the California High School Standards and then teaching adolescent youths in the California Prison System, Torch Middle School, Fullerton Community College, and Santa Ana Community College. |
