The University of Minnesota is home to the largest collection of artifacts related to Sherlock Holmes in the world. The Wilson Library collections feature many items that focus on Holmes as a cultural icon - including many original manuscripts as written by Arthur Conan Doyle, original Strand Magazines and items that were mentioned in the stories. The 221B room and collections are open to the public.
The Toronto Reference Library has one of the world's foremost collections of library materials devoted to the life and work of Arthur Conan Doyle. Much of the collection is devoted to Doyle's most famous character, Sherlock Holmes, and is housed in a room evoking 221B Baker Street.
